Our team is top-notch because we fully vet each potential employee to make sure he or she has the proper credentials and experience to deliver Show Me Safe customer service and results. We have technicians who are experienced in every type of safe opening service, including the following:
Manipulation – Just like what you see in the movies, “cracking” a safe requires carful turning of the dial and listening carefully for certain clicks that reveal the original combination. It’s a very difficult and time-consuming way of opening a safe, but we do use it in some cases. We may also utilize scoping, which involves drilling a small hole near the lock for visibility and then filling it back in once we’ve unlocked the safe.
Bypassing Electronics – Safes that lock electronically can have their locks bypassed with the correct tools and techniques, although it’s a risky procedure that may result in ruining the lock altogether.
Picking the Lock – This technique can be done on lower-grade safes with pretty standard locksmith equipment. We can then swap out the current lock with a new one. We can also take impressions of the key hole and create a new one to fit. This is a painstaking process, but it is effective if you are hoping to preserve the original lock for any reason.
When our efforts are exhausted, we can simply break into the safe using special drills and saws. This is a last resort, but one we come to every once in a while. If you aren’t interested in keeping the safe intact, we can use this safe opening method sooner rather than later and save you precious time.
