When it comes to safes and vaults, there are many reasons that we will be called in. These reasons include but are not limited to:
- The safe has come under new ownership. - The owner has lost their key. - The owner has forgotten the combination. - Someone has tried to force entry. - Someone has illegally gained entry and the owner or insurance provider is looking for an explanation. - The safe was in a fire and the owner needs helps in recovering the contents. - The owner is requesting a combination change. - A family member has died and the family and/or lawyer need access to the safe. - A safe has been acquired at auction with no combination or keys included. - A safe or vault needs repairs to non-working components. - An owner requests a restoration for a vintage or antique safe or vault. - The safe needs to be moved and is to large or heavy for the owner to handle. |
Thru over twenty years in the industry, we’ve become quite adept at moving safes, vaults and other objects that need to remain secure for clients. As you can imagine, this results in some strange requests every now and then! Items that we move on a regular basis with complete security protocol are any variety of safe including:
Safes - Whether it be a large Jeweler’s Safe, a Deposit Safe, or a Gun Safe, you can imagine how important it is to not drop it in the slightest bit as this would cause the internal mechanisms to become off alignment, misalign the door or hinges, or could break an internal glass plate which would activate the spring loaded relocked pins. Bank Vaults - Yes, we said that correctly. We have moved entire vaults. To the extent that we have had to remove the wall of a business to successfully remove the vault. There are obviously lots of moving pieces in a job like this, but we take our responsibility seriously and are here to meet your requests. ATM Machines - Being a cash machine mover is a serious responsibility and not just anyone can be trusted with the job. ATM’s are highly sophisticated pieces of equipment and typically carry thousands of dollars in cash at any given time. Although the access compartment to the cash is fairly unsophisticated, there is computer processing hardware inside that cannot risk damage by a fall or an inexperienced mover. Vending Machine - Moving a vending machine can require a lot of patience due to their size and variations in complexity. Many older vending machines are far less technical but much heavier. Newer models are for more technical with more moving components and computerized software, but less heavy. Having experience with the equipment is a must for anyone being considered to move these machines. |
